A great opportunity to join the Import team as an Ocean Import Coordinator. You will be responsible for managing the importation of clients’ products from various industries across the world via sea and ocean. This role offers the opportunity to work in a professional, supportive and friendly environment.

Responsibilities
-
Communicating with clients throughout the shipping process and collaborating with the team to provide logistics solutions.

Handling day-to-day Import ocean freight operations and customs processes
-
Building and maintaining client relations for continued business

Coordinating final mile delivery requirements with third-party suppliers and in-house team

Providing general customs advice and creating customs and import ocean documents.

Experience working in Sea freight doing Imports start to finish.

Ideally 2-3 years’ experience working in a similar position for a freight forwarder.

Knowledge of customs would be a bonus.

Understanding of AEO procedures, Bills of Lading, Inco Terms, and general customs compliance
