The Role
As an Ocean Export Coordinator, you will manage the end-to-end ocean export process, ensuring shipments are handled smoothly, efficiently, and in compliance with international regulations. You will liaise with clients, carriers, and internal teams to deliver a high level of service and operational excellence.
Ocean Export Coordinator Key Responsibilities
- Manage ocean export shipments from booking to final delivery.
- Prepare and process export documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and customs declarations.
- Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure timely shipments.
- Track and monitor shipments, providing regular updates to customers.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.
- Work closely with internal teams, including sales and customer service, to resolve any shipment issues.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring excellent customer service.
- Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
