We’re looking for an experienced Pricing Controller to lead and evolve pricing and promotions strategy across a large, fast-moving wholesale business.
This is a high-impact role for someone with a strong background in pricing, commercial analytics, retail or FMCG/CPG who can combine analytical expertise with commercial thinking and stakeholder leadership.
You’ll work across Category, Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain and IT, helping shape pricing decisions, improve promotional performance and build a stronger, more data-driven pricing culture across the business.
What you’ll be doing Lead cross-functional pricing governance across Category, Finance, Supply Chain and Commercial teams.
Partner with Category Leads to develop pricing, promotional strategies, KVIs and vendor-funded events.
Work closely with Finance to assess margin, forecast impacts and pricing scenarios.
Use data and insight to improve pricing decisions, measurement and commercial performance.
Work with Data & Analytics and BI teams to enhance reporting, modelling and pricing tools.
Collaborate with Supply Chain to identify and manage availability risks around promotions.
Lead change and continuous improvement initiatives across pricing processes and systems.
Drive improvements in elasticity modelling, promotional ROI and pricing measurement.
Represent Pricing at senior trading meetings and cross-functional steering groups.
Lead, coach and develop Pricing Analysts, building capability and confidence across the team.
What you’ll bring We’re looking for an experienced pricing professional with 7+ years’ experience in pricing, commercial or analytical roles.
You’ll ideally have experience within: Retail Food or CPG/FMCGA commercially focused or PE-backed environment You’ll be someone who can combine strong analytical thinking with commercial judgement, and who is confident influencing senior stakeholders and challenging the status quo.
A degree or postgraduate qualification in Maths, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Data Science or another quantitative discipline would be advantageous.
Most importantly, you’ll be someone who enjoys turning complex data into clear commercial decisions and measurable results.
