London & South East30,000-38,000 + Van + TrainingWe’re recruiting a Junior Heat Pump Installation Engineer for a growing renewable energy specialist delivering high-quality heat pump installations across London and the South East.This is an excellent opportunity for a junior heating or plumbing engineer who wants to build a long-term career in renewables, working alongside experienced engineers on bespoke air source and ground source heat pump systems. Elite Renewables designs and installs heat pumps, solar, battery storage and MVHR systems across the region, with a strong focus on tailored system design and quality installation.The RoleAssist with installation of air source and ground source heat pumpsInstall cylinders, pumps, valves and associated heating equipmentSupport pipework, radiator and heating system upgradesAssist with flushing, filling and pressure testing systemsWork from drawings and installation specificationsSupport commissioning and system handoverMaintain high standards of workmanship and site safetyLearn from experienced renewable heating engineersDevelop knowledge across MVHR, solar and wider renewable systemsThe CandidatePlumbing, heating or mechanical engineering backgroundNVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent qualification desirableSome experience working on domestic heating systemsStrong practical and problem-solving abilityKeen to develop a career in heat pumps and renewable heatingGood customer-facing skillsFull UK driving licenceHeat pump experience advantageous but not essentialPackage30,000-38,000 basic depending on experienceCompany van and fuel cardPension28 days holiday including Bank HolidaysManufacturer and heat pump trainingUniform and PPEOngoing technical developmentExcellent progressionThe OpportunityThis role is designed for someone who already has the fundamentals of heating or plumbing but needs the opportunity to develop into a fully competent Heat Pump Engineer.You’ll receive hands-on experience with bespoke installations and structured development across modern renewable technologies.
