The Role
We are seeking a Compliance Manager to join a high‑performing Recycling & Waste Management function.
This is a dynamic, multi‑site role where you will play a critical part in ensuring operations consistently meet environmental, regulatory, and technical standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Compliance & Technical Oversight
- Assess recycling and waste activities against relevant legislation and environmental standards
- Verify material compliance and suitability against technical specifications
- Review waste acceptance data to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Support evidence generation for End‑of‑Waste status
- Audits, Inspections & Sampling
- Lead audits across operational sites, suppliers, and third parties
- Identify non‑conformances and support corrective action tracking
- Carry out inspections, sampling, and coordinate testing activities
- Maintain audit schedules and compliance records
- Documentation & Data Management
- Manage compliance‑critical documentation, including test certificates and records
- Support technical submissions and compliance evidence packs
- Collate and validate data for reporting and regulatory requirements
- Monitor KPIs such as waste flows and landfill diversion
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work cross‑functionally with operational, technical, and environmental teams
- Provide clear, actionable feedback following audits and inspections
