I’m looking for a hands‑on Mechanical Inspector to join a thriving and expanding engineering business in Knutsford. Responsibilities
- Inspecting CNC‑machined parts (first‑off inspections)
- Using precision tools such as micrometers, verniers, and height gauges
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings (imperial measurements)
- Comparing CAD designs with finished components
- Completing quality documentation and supporting issue resolution
- Managing non‑conforming parts via an ERP system
- Working with advanced equipment like CMM and FARO arms (full training provided)
Qualifications
- Mechanical or engineering background (apprenticeship or experience)
