About the Role: We’re working with a well-established and growing freight forwarder who is looking to add a Junior Ocean Freight Forwarder to their Dudley team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with around 1-2 years’ freight forwarding experience (ideally within ocean freight) who is looking to take the next step in their career and develop their skills further in a supportive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the day-to-day coordination of ocean freight shipments (import and/or export)
- Supporting the preparation of shipping documentation and customs clearance processes
- Liaising with shipping lines, overseas agents, hauliers, and customers
- Monitoring shipments, updating clients, and ensuring smooth end-to-end operations
- Providing administrative and operational support to the senior forwarding team
- Maintaining accurate records on the company’s freight management system
Candidate Requirements:
- 1-2 years’ experience in a freight forwarding role (ocean freight experience highly desirable)
- Eager to learn and develop within international logistics
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- IT literate with good attention to detail
- Team player with a positive, proactive attitude
