We’re looking for an experienced Transport Operations Manager to take the lead at a busy depot, managing 30+ drivers and employees through a wider management team. This is a key leadership role focused on safety, service, compliance, people and performance.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead, motivate and develop a team of 30+
  • Drive performance across cost, service, productivity and compliance
  • Manage planning, resources and operational budgets
  • Ensure full compliance with transport legislation, WTD and tachograph requirements
  • Champion a strong safety culture
  • Use data and KPIs to identify and deliver improvements
  • Manage performance, absence and employee relations
  • Partner with senior leadership to deliver excellent customer service
