Salary: GBP40000 - GBP50000 per annum
An established specialist HVAC contractor is looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join its engineering team in the Cambridge/Peterborough region. The role covers installation, commissioning, service, maintenance and fault finding on air conditioning and ventilation systems across a range of commercial and specialist environments.
You will work independently across customer sites, diagnosing faults, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, and supporting new installations and commissioning. The business delivers a broad range of HVAC solutions, with opportunities to develop technical experience across different systems and applications.
Requirements
- Experienced Air Conditioning Engineer with a strong installation and maintenance background
- Confident in service, fault finding, repairs and commissioning
- Experience working on air conditioning, ventilation and associated HVAC equipment
- Relevant technical qualifications in air conditioning, refrigeration or HVAC
- Able to interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams and specifications
- Comfortable working independently and completing technical service reports
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Willingness to travel and occasionally stay away when required
Package
- Salary circa £45,000
- Company van provided
- No on-call rota
- Field-based role with flexible home location around Cambridge / Peterborough
