Export Coordinator – Lichfield – Up to £30,000
Our client, a highly established Freight Forwarding & International Logistics company, is seeking to appoint a new team member to the Freight Department, primarily dealing with Groupage Services.
As the Freight Forwarder, you will manage the company’s customer accounts, handling the entire import and export process via European Road Freight.
Job Details:
- Type: Permanent
- Hours: Mon – Fri, 9:00 am – 5:30 pm
- Salary: Up to £30,000, DOE
Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiate rates and arrange Groupage shipments
- Develop strong working relationships with subcontractors and customers
- Plan routes throughout Europe in line with SLAs
- Manage full import/export process from start to finish
- Provide excellent customer service
- Maintain a positive and proactive attitude
- Liaise with overseas partners
- Promote the company\’s brand and image
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of freight forwarding experience
- Road freight experience with exports
- Experience with subcontractors (preferred but not essential)
- UK-based with the right to work in the UK
