They work with an extensive network of overseas agents, shipping lines, airlines, hauliers and other logistics partners to provide efficient and cost-effective transport solutions to customers worldwide.

The RoleWe are looking for a proactive Import Logistics Executive to join an experienced team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with freight forwarding experience who enjoys working across the operational side of imports and wants to develop their knowledge across multiple transport modes.
Key ResponsibilitiesLiaising with customers, suppliers and subcontractors, including shipping lines, hauliers and depotsRaising internal filesPreparing invoicesProcessing supplier invoices and resolving any discrepanciesMonitoring vessel arrivalsOrganising collections and deliveries to ensure customer deadlines are metFollowing up after delivery to confirm customer satisfactionIdentifying opportunities to further support customers and develop the serviceResponsibilities may evolve over time in line with the operational requirements of the business.
Candidate RequirementsMinimum 2 years' experience working for a small to medium-sized UK based freight forwarderExperience using CNS and Destin8Freight forwarding software experience; Multi-Freight experience would be beneficialStrong attention to detailExcellent communication skills and a friendly personalityGood working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and ExcelStrong team player with a proactive and dynamic approachExcellent mathematical and English skillsWhy Join?
