Electrical Commissioning Engineer HVAC in Droitwich

Location: Droitwich, UK (with travel across the UK & Europe) We’re looking for a hands‑on Electrical Commissioning Engineer to support the testing, verification, and commissioning of packaged plant rooms and modular pump systems for HVAC and Data Centre solutions.This role is ideal for an electrically‑strong engineer with solid mechanical understanding, confident in customer‑facing environments and experienced in commissioning and FAT/SAT.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out electrical and mechanical commissioning of packaged systems, including control panels, PLCs, inverters, instrumentation, and pumpsSupport FAT/SAT procedures, documentation, and client witness testingConduct site-based functional testing, validation, and troubleshooting, fault finding and problem solvingWork closely with project managers, engineering, and service teamsMaintain accurate commissioning records, test documentation, and compliance with RAMS and HSE standardsAssist with O&M documentation and certificationAbout YouHNC/HND or degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)Proven commissioning experience in HVAC, Data Centre, or industrial fluid systemsStrong understanding of electrical controls, PLCs, inverters, and instrumentationGood mechanical knowledge: pumps, valves, filters, pipeworkConfident reading schematics, fault‑finding, and resolving technical issuesExcellent communication and customer‑facing skillsFull UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK and EuropePackageSalary 55K-70K25 days holidayCompany pensionFlexible working hoursWR Engineering are the #1 recruitment partner for engineering, manufacturing & technical sales jobs.
