The Role
I am recruiting on behalf of a well-established and expanding freight forwarding company seeking an experienced Multimodal Freight Forwarder for their Dover office. You will manage end-to-end shipments across air, road, and sea/ocean, taking full ownership from booking through to final delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing import and export shipments across air, road, and sea/ocean
- Handling full freight and customs documentation where required
- Liaising with hauliers, shipping lines, airlines, ports, and overseas agents
- Providing quotations and managing shipment costs
- Maintaining high levels of customer service and communication
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across multiple UK sites
Requirements
- Proven experience in multimodal freight forwarding
- Strong knowledge of UK import and export procedures
