An established manufacturer of residential ventilation systems is looking to appoint a Sales Manager to drive specification and sales activity across London and the South East. This is a specification-led role focused on engaging with consultants, M&E contractors, developers and housebuilders to secure product specification and convert projects through to order. You will manage the full sales cycle from lead generation and relationship development through to quotation, negotiation and project conversion, helping to grow market share across a key region. The role offers a blend of new business development and account management within the residential building services sector.
Requirements
- Proven sales experience within ventilation, HVAC or building services products
- Strong understanding of residential ventilation systems including MVHR, MEV and extract ventilation
- Experience working with consultants, housebuilders, developers or M&E contractors
- Proven ability to generate new business and manage a project-led sales cycle
- Technically credible and confident discussing Building Regulations Part F compliance
- Strong presentation and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage a regional territory independently
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable
- Background in specification-led HVAC or building services sales
- Mechanical engineering or building services qualification
- Knowledge of the UK residential construction market
