Our client is looking for a Product Quality Assurance Co-ordinator who will work closely with multiple departments to ensure product quality, stock accuracy, traceability, and compliance throughout the supply chain.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage stock control processes to minimise waste and maximise customer satisfaction.
  • Allocate stock to customer orders based on availability, quality, and priority.
  • Coordinate stock distribution with production, warehouse, and labelling teams.
  • Conduct inspections and quality assessments of incoming raw materials.
  • Monitor product appearance, packaging, labelling accuracy, and weights.
  • Investigate quality concerns and support corrective and preventative actions.
  • Maintain accurate quality assurance and stock records.
  • Verify compliance with customer specifications, food safety requirements, and industry standards.
  • Support product sampling, shelf‑life management, and quality reporting activities.
  • Carry out routine verification checks on equipment and processes.

Skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Control role within the fresh produce or food manufacturing sector.
  • Food Safety Level 2 certification.
  • Good knowledge of food safety, quality, and retail standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other IT systems.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships across teams and with external stakeholders.
  • A positive, proactive attitude and the confidence to challenge processes when quality standards may be compromised.
