We're looking for a proactive People & Culture Assistant to join a busy and fast‑paced operation, playing a vital role in ensuring employees are supported throughout their journey while helping maintain accurate workforce and payroll records. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing administration, employee support, data management, and problem‑solving within a collaborative HR environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing and maintaining employee Time & Attendance records to ensure payroll accuracy.
- Reviewing timesheets, attendance records, absences, and pay adjustments.
- Investigating and resolving payroll‑related discrepancies.
- Producing workforce reports and supporting labour planning activities.
- Acting as a welcoming first point of contact for employees, visitors, and deliveries.
- Supporting recruitment activities, interviews, and candidate coordination.
- Delivering inductions and onboarding processes for new starters.
- Conducting Right to Work checks and maintaining employee records.
- Providing practical support and guidance to colleagues when needed.
- Assisting with general People & Culture administration and reporting.
What We're Looking For
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
- Confident working with data and administrative processes.
- A strong communicator with excellent written and verbal English skills.
- Proactive, positive, and solution‑focused.
- Comfortable handling confidential information with discretion.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Able to prioritise workload and work effectively in a fast‑moving environment.
- Additional language skills would be an advantage but are not essential.
