Salary: GBP35000 - GBP45000 per annum
We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Service Engineer to join an established engineering business, covering customers across the North of England and Midlands.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer with strong experience servicing and maintaining CNC lathes and milling machines, looking for a varied field-based role.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain and repair CNC lathes and milling machines.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical and control-related faults.
- Attend customer sites across the North and Midlands.
- Carry out preventative maintenance and machine servicing.
- Support machine installation, commissioning and upgrades where required.
- Identify faults and provide effective technical solutions.
- Complete service reports and maintain accurate customer records.
- Provide customers with technical advice and support.
- Liaise with internal engineering and technical teams to resolve complex issues.
About You
- Proven experience as a CNC Service Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer or similar.
- Strong hands-on experience with CNC lathes and milling machines.
- Good mechanical and electrical fault-finding ability.
- Experience working with CNC controls and machine tool systems.
- Ability to diagnose problems methodically and work independently.
- Strong customer-facing and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel throughout the North and Midlands.
- Full UK driving licence.
