Due to continued growth, they're looking to strengthen their Manchester operations team with an experienced Ocean Freight Operator.
The Role
- You'll be responsible for managing sea freight shipments from start to finish, ensuring every consignment is handled efficiently while providing exceptional customer service.
- Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Managing import, export and cross-trade ocean freight shipments
- Booking cargo with shipping lines and overseas agents
- Customs clearance and shipping documentation
- Liaising with customers, carriers and international partners
- Preparing quotations and following up on new opportunities
- Costing, invoicing and maintaining accurate shipment records
- Building long-term customer relationships and supporting account growth
About You
- To be successful, you'll have:
- Previous end-to-end Ocean Freight forwarding experience
