The Role
Working from the company's Heathrow office, you'll become part of a dedicated air imports team responsible for managing international air freight shipments from arrival through to final delivery.
You’ll be responsible for
- Managing the full air import process from start to finish.
- Completing customs entries and import clearances independently.
- Liaising with airlines, overseas agents, customers and transport providers.
- Arranging deliveries and ensuring shipments move efficiently.
- Handling customer enquiries and providing regular shipment updates.
- Ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant with customs regulations.
- Delivering a high level of customer service while meeting operational deadlines.
What We're Looking For
We’re keen to speak with candidates who have
- Previous experience working in air imports within a freight forwarding environment.
- The ability to manage shipments independently from start to finish.
- Experience completing customs entries without supervision.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
Experience within aerospace or AOG logistics is not required. This role is ideal for someone with a solid general air freight imports background.
