Are you an experienced Air Freight Import Operator looking for your next opportunity in Manchester?
We're working with a fantastic, well-established freight forwarder that's looking to strengthen its Air Import team with two experienced operators.

The Role
You’ll be responsible for managing air import shipments from start to finish, ensuring customers receive a reliable and professional service.
Key responsibilities include:

Managing air freight import shipments from origin through to final delivery.

Liaising with airlines, overseas agents, customers and transport providers.

Preparing and processing import documentation.

Coordinating customs clearance and arranging onward deliveries.

Monitoring shipment progress and providing customers with regular updates.

Resolving operational issues to ensure shipments run smoothly.

Maintaining accurate shipment records and supporting invoicing.
What We're Looking For

Previous experience in Air Freight Imports within a freight forwarding environment.

Good understanding of import procedures and documentation.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Ability to manage multiple shipments and prioritise workloads.

A proactive, organised approach with excellent attention to detail.
