Weekend Nights Operations Analyst – AOG / Time-Critical Logistics
Location: Derby
Shift pattern: Friday to Sunday | 8:00pm – 8:00am
Contract: Permanent
Salary up to £37,000
I’m recruiting for an experienced Weekend Nights Operations Analyst to support time-critical AOG and aerospace logistics operations. This role is ideal for a proven night-shift operator who is confident managing urgent air and road freight movements independently, making real-time decisions, and delivering under pressure.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing AOG, Aerospace & Defence, and Automotive shipments via Air and Road
- Producing accurate quotations for time-critical movements via phone, email, and customer platforms
- Proactively monitoring live shipments and providing regular customer updates
- Coordinating with airlines, hauliers, partners, and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery
- Managing bookings, documentation, and all operational activity within a TMS, escalating issues where required
Essential experience (applications without these will not be considered):
- Proven AOG operational experience
- Valid IATA Dangerous Goods (DG) Certificate
- MAYB experience
- Strong Air Export operations background
- Experience handling Imports, Exports, and Cross-Trade shipments
