Are you an experienced HGV/LGV Driver with Class 2 and ADR Certification, looking to kick-start a new career for an established and growing Waste Management company in a permanent position? This role could be excellent for you!
My client is looking for an experienced ADR Certified Class 2 Driver to join their team based in Southampton.
Working Hours
Full Time: Monday – Friday (Guaranteed 45 hours a week) – Overtime and weekend work available.
Package Benefits
- 21 days Holiday, increasing to 25 days with service + 8 bank holidays.
- Scaled overtime pay, up to £30.60 per hour.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive and Operate Class 2 vehicles: Skip Lorries, Tippers and Ro-Ro.
- Operate LGV Class vehicles on call-outs and prearranged jobs across Hampshire, Dorset and West Sussex.
- Loading and Unloading vehicles.
- Complete all administration, paperwork and logbooks accurately and on time.
- Engage with customers when on site, being friendly and offering great service.
Requirements
- Driver’s CPC and 2 years’ experience.
- Cat 2 Licence.
- Tacho Card.
- No more than 3 penalty points on licence.
- ADR Licence and Certification is essential.
- Previous experience working for a Waste Management or Skip hire company is desirable.
