Lift Technician
Permanent | Full-Time | Β£30,000 β Β£33,000 + Benefits
The Role
We are looking for a Lift Technician to join a growing team covering London and the surrounding areas .
Working alongside experienced engineers, you will provide technical support on site, attend customer locations and help ensure lift equipment is maintained and operating safely. The role will involve a mixture of hands-on technical work, site visits, engineer support and communication with equipment manufacturers .
This is a great opportunity for an experienced lift professional looking to develop their technical knowledge and progress within the industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist engineers with installation, servicing, maintenance and repair work.
- Attend customer sites across London and surrounding areas.
- Carry out technical site visits and inspections.
- Support engineers with fault finding and technical issues.
- Liaise directly with lift manufacturers and suppliers regarding equipment and technical queries.
- Assist with diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical issues.
- Complete site reports and technical documentation.
- Maintain high standards of health & safety and customer service.
- Work closely with engineers and the wider technical team.
About You
- NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering or a relevant lift qualification is required.
- Previous experience within the lift industry .
- Good understanding of lift equipment and systems.
- Able to assist with mechanical and electrical fault finding.
- Comfortable working on customer sites and travelling throughout London and surrounding areas.
- Confident communicating with engineers, customers and manufacturers.
- Practical, reliable and willing to learn.
- Full UK driving licence would be advantageous.
