Lead Electrical Design Engineer
Lead or Senior Electrical Design Engineer is required to join an commercial and industrial HVAC manufacturer.
We invite applications from electrical engineers with suitable supervisory or leadership experience; Senior Design Engineer (ready for step up), Lead Electrical Engineer, Electrical Design Manager.
Package
Salary £60K – £70K, 25 days holiday, pension
We require someone to hit the ground running so only able to accept applications from local individuals with electrical design experience in building services or industrial, process sectors.
The Role
- Lead design engineer for small team of electrical design engineers, mentoring, delegating, technical support
- Electrical design of LV electrical layout requirements for multiple simultaneous projects
- Equipment selections and design calculations
- Attend meetings with customers
- Assist with project planning
- Maintenance of relevant regulatory/legislative compliance
- Specification of compliant parts and practices

You
- An experienced Senior Electrical Engineer, Lead Electrical Design Engineer
- Previous experience in senior / leadership role, ready for step up
- 18th Edition qualified
- Electrical Design skills are essential
- HNC or degree in Electrical Engineering
- AutoCAD experience/qualification
- Amtech design calculation software experience is preferable
- Driving licence
