About the Role:
We’re working with a well-established and growing freight forwarder who is looking to add a Junior Ocean Freight Forwarder to their Dudley team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with around 1-2 years’ freight forwarding experience (ideally within ocean freight) who is looking to take the next step in their career and develop their skills further in a supportive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting with the day-to-day coordination of ocean freight shipments (import and/or export)

Supporting the preparation of shipping documentation and customs clearance processes

Liaising with shipping lines, overseas agents, hauliers, and customers

Monitoring shipments, updating clients, and ensuring smooth end-to-end operations

Providing administrative and operational support to the senior forwarding team

Maintaining accurate records on the company’s freight management system
Candidate Requirements:

1-2 years’ experience in a freight forwarding role (ocean freight experience highly desirable)
