A well-established international engineering manufacturer is looking to appoint a Project Engineer to support the delivery of complex building services projects across London. This is a hands-on, site-based role, acting as the key link between a remote project management team and on-site operations. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to specification.
The Role
- Take ownership of on-site coordination, including deliveries, commissioning labour and subcontractor supervision
- Act as the on-site representative, attending meetings and liaising with main contractors, clients and stakeholders
- Plan and manage commissioning schedules, resources and site activities
- Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and site procedures
- Maintain accurate site records, complete audits and upload documentation to client portals
- Work closely with off-site project teams to support delivery within programme and budget
Requirements
- Degree qualified in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline
- CSCS and/or Site Supervisor certification
- 3-5 years’ experience in a site-based Project Engineer or Commissioning role
- Background in HVAC or data centre environments advantageous
- Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g. Primavera P6)
