An excellent opportunity has arisen for a commercially minded finance professional to join a major international organisation, working closely with operational and senior management teams to improve financial performance.
Reporting to the Finance Director, you will provide high-quality analysis, forecasting and commercial insight to support key business decisions across a multi-site operation.
Responsibilities
- Produce meaningful financial reporting, analysis and performance commentary
- Analyse actual performance against budgets, forecasts and prior year
- Partner with operational and commercial teams to improve performance
- Analyse sales, margins, volumes, pricing and commercial trends
- Support annual budgeting and ongoing forecasting processes
- Identify commercial risks, opportunities and cost-saving initiatives
- Produce financial models and scenario analysis for new opportunities
- Support commercial proposals, bids and tenders
- Develop KPI reporting for senior management
- Improve financial controls, reporting and accounting processes
Requirements
- Studying towards or newly qualified
- CIMA / ACCA
- Strong commercial finance, management accounting or analytical experience
- Excellent Excel and financial modelling skills
- Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management ability
- Comfortable working within a fast-paced, multi-site environment
- SAP / Oracle EPM experience advantageous
