Control System Design Engineer
Salary around £60K, 25 days holiday, flexible working hours
The Control System Design Engineer will manage engineering design drawing revision control and work closely with customers to update drawings, review P&ID, block diagrams, and schematics.
We invite applications from experienced Control System Design Engineers with a background in building services or industrial control systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the Design Authority for controls engineering projects
- Design and develop control panel hardware, electrical schematics, and control system software
- Produce and review Sequences of Operation, specifications, schematics, BOMs, and technical documentation.
- Manage design revisions, engineering change control
- Attend client and internal design review meetings, providing technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and support Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)
Requirements:
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Automation Engineering
- Experienced controls engineer within industrial control systems, control panel design, and automation solutions.
- Strong understanding of electrical control systems, schematics, PLCs, HMIs
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
