Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Freight Forwarding Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of transport and global logistics, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multi-modal shipments in a fast-paced environment.

Hours: Monday to Friday – 09:00 – 17:30
Salary: Up to £30,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and process road, air, and sea freight shipments.
- Book shipments with shipping lines, agents, and hauliers.
- Provide exceptional customer service, including tracking shipments and providing client updates.
- Handle customs clearance processes for both import and export shipments.
- Create customer orders, negotiate rates, and manage invoicing.
- Maximise profit margins across shipments and key accounts.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Ensure all tasks are completed accurately, efficiently, and within tight deadlines.
What You’ll Bring:
- Experience in freight forwarding operations (essential).
- Experience in multimodal freight forwarding (desirable).
- Knowledge of customs clearance processes (preferred but not essential).
