We are recruiting for an experienced Air Freight Operator to join a well-established international freight forwarding business based in Middlesbrough. This is a hands-on, office-based role managing air freight import and export operations from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end air freight import & export operations
- Airline bookings and shipment coordination
- Preparing air freight documentation (AWBs, customs paperwork, etc.)
- Liaising with airlines, overseas agents and customers
- Tracking shipments and resolving issues proactively
Requirements
- Proven experience in air freight forwarding (imports &/or exports)
- Strong knowledge of air freight processes and documentation
- Confident communicator with good organisational skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment
