The role is centred on building and leading a high-performing marketing function that directly contributes to commercial growth, enhances sales effectiveness, and strengthens long-term brand positioning.
As Head of Marketing, you will define and execute the overall marketing strategy, ensuring all activity is insight-led, commercially focused, and aligned to business objectives.
Working closely with senior leadership and commercial teams, you will ensure marketing delivers measurable performance and impact.
This position combines strategic leadership with accountability for execution, performance standards and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Define, own and evolve the company’s marketing strategy in line with growth objectives
- Build structure, capability and scalability within the marketing function
- Lead, mentor and develop the marketing team and external partners, fostering a high-performance culture
- Own brand positioning across all markets, channels and touchpoints
- Set direction for content, social media and events activity
- Lead integrated marketing campaigns that support sales and market expansion.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy across all internal and external communications
- Partner closely with commercial teams to align marketing with sales priorities
- Oversee development of marketing materials for UK and international markets
- Drive measurable impact across lead generation, conversion and retention.
- Define strategy for events, exhibitions, awards and sponsorship activity
- Ensure strong and consistent external representation of the brand
- Manage relationships with agencies, suppliers and external partners
- Own marketing performance measurement and reporting
- Leverage analytics, SEO and ROI tracking to inform strategy
- Drive continuous optimisation and improvement across marketing activity.
You are a commercially driven and strategic marketing leader who understands how marketing contributes to revenue, growth and brand reputation.
You bring clarity, structure and accountability, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
Essential Requirements- Proven senior marketing leadership experience within FMCG, food-service, B2B and/or international markets
- Strong commercial acumen and experience partnering with sales functions
- Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing teams
- Deep understanding of brand strategy, integrated campaigns and multi-channel marketing
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to demonstrate ROI and performance impact
- Experience managing external agencies and partners
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Degree in Marketing or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
- Negotiable salary starting from £60,000 per annum
