We are proud to have partnered with Cheshire Mouldings Ltd in St Helens to handle their permanent recruitment requirements. A new opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Engineer to work at their Normans Road manufacturing facility. The role will require a time served multi skilled engineer with a mechanical bias to oversee their PPM schedule, conducting both proactive and reactive maintenance and repairs to a number of CNC machines, including moulders, saws and finger jointers.
Duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Belt checks
- Oiling and greasing machinery
- Ensuring machinery is operating effectively
- Replacing sensors
- Weekly inspections of machinery
- Following a servicing schedule
Requirements: You'll have two plus years experience working in a similar position within a manufacturing environment, undertaking similar duties.
Benefits: A basic salary up to £40,000 depending on experience. 20 days holiday + bank holidays. Monday to Friday 0800-1730 - no nights, no weekends.
