Martlets Hospice is looking for a passionate and talented Chef to join our welcoming team. You’ll be preparing fresh, nutritious lunches for our residents, creating meals that make a real difference to their day. If you love producing great‑tasting food that brings joy and comfort to others, we’d love to hear from you!

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Preparing delicious, high‑quality meals that delight our residents
  • Overseeing and implementing menu changes
  • Identifying opportunities to improve the food service
  • Listening and responding to resident and customer feedback
  • Supporting the creation of new menus and creative food ideas
  • Representing Healthcare with a positive and professional attitude
  • Monitoring stock and ensuring the kitchen stays well‑supplied
  • Maintaining excellent hygiene standards and overseeing kitchen cleanliness
  • Ensuring full compliance with Food Handling, Hygiene, and Health & Safety regulations

What We’re Looking For

  • A genuine passion for great‑tasting food and exceptional service
  • City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent
  • Experience supervising a team
  • Previous experience in a similar Chef role
  • A valid Food Hygiene certificate
  • A flexible, positive, can‑do attitude
