Location: Great Bay Community College, Portsmouth Campus. Great Bay Community College is seeking qualified applicants who are interested in adjunct teaching at the College on a course-by-course basis; strong academic background is required.
Semester: Fall 2026 Semester
Adjunct Faculty: American Sign Language
The instructor will be responsible for helping to prepare and to teach up to two 16-week ASL 1 courses. Course: ASL 1. The instructor must be available during the scheduled course time (either in person or remotely), the True Way ASL platform, and should be experienced in Canvas LMS.

Course: ASL110G: American Sign Language 1. Adjunct appointments are temporary, for a specified contract period and may require in classroom or online instruction.
The compensation rate is $825-$975 per contact hour. Compensation will be determined based on the appointed adjunct faculty rank, which is based on education and industry and/or teaching experience.
The minimum qualifications for the position are as follows:
- Education: Bachelor’s (minimum) or Master’s (preferred) degree from a recognized university or college.
- Experience: Four (4) years of teaching and/or experience in the deaf community.
