CCSNH has established employer status within the New England states (Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island). In compliance with CCSNH policies and state regulations, eligibility for employment within CCSNH and its institutions requires residency within a New England state.

Great Bay Community College is seeking qualified applicants who are interested in Educator Prep adjunct teaching at the College on a course-by-course basis; strong academic background is required, as well as work experience in the education field.

Semester: Fall 2025 Semester

The instructor will be responsible for helping to teach freshman and sophomore Educator Preparation courses in an online environment to be delivered in an 8-week, 12-week, or full semester format, yet to be determined. Instructors must be comfortable using technology in a teaching and learning environment.

  • EDUP 104 Foundations of Education
  • EDUP 101 Introduction to Exceptionalities
  • EDUP 215 Behavior Challenges in the Classroom

Adjunct appointments are temporary, for a specified contract period and may require classroom or online instruction. The compensation rate is $800-$950 per contact hour [or $47.95 - $59.45 per clinical rate per hour if applicable]. Compensation will be determined based on the appointed adjunct faculty rank, which is based on education and industry and/or teaching experience.

The minimum qualifications for the position are as follows:

  • Education: Master’s Degree in Education, or related field such as Curriculum and Supervision.
  • Experience: 5 years of K-12 regular education or special education classroom or public-school administration experience, preferably in the state of New Hampshire. Experience teaching in a synchronous or asynchronous online environment.
  • Licensure: Must hold a current Experienced Educator credential from the State of NH.
