You will work five days per week. Accommodation provided 7 days a week. 4 weeks paid holiday per year. Accommodation in London is located 15 minutes from Oxford St. Excellent location. Warwick Ave Tube station & bus stop is within 60 metres of our home. Oxford St is just 15 minutes away by bus & tube.
£2000 bonus in addition to your monthly salary if you leave having worked at least 18 months, giving at least 3 weeks notice. Pay is monthly.
We are looking for a housekeeper for our home; however, if you have hotel cleaning experience such as chamber maid/room attendant, that is a definite advantage but not essential.
If you have a National Insurance Number, we can offer you 4 weeks paid holiday per year. If you don’t have a National Insurance Number, we can show you how to register once you have started with us.
Workdays normally Monday to Friday. Average - 48 hours per week - 208 hours per month but flexibility is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily & weekly housekeeping: cleaning, laundry, ironing
- Using WhatsApp, online calendars, and other apps for communication and organisation
- Assisting in the kitchen (no experience required)
- Managing online inventories and household supplies
- Full training & instruction provided
- Make phone calls using clear English to avoid misunderstandings with suppliers and general household management
- Handling deliveries and returns
We live in a large central London home on 5 floors. You must be fit and able to regularly climb stairs with ease quickly. Unfortunately, delivery drivers in London are not patient, and part of your job will be handling deliveries to the house and returns.
In line with the requirements of the current immigration and asylum legislation, all applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK. Unfortunately, I cannot accept anybody on a tourist visa.
This is a live-in position. Accommodation is available for you 24/7, but living in is compulsory from 11pm on any evening prior to a work day.
Good spoken English and the ability to read and understand written English at a very detailed level and in an extremely accurate manner is completely essential for this job.
