White Label is exclusively representing an engineering business in the Wakefield area that is looking to appoint multiple Design Engineers. My client is a leading designer and installer of safety equipment for the construction sector. Due to continued growth and expansion into new markets, they are looking to strengthen their design team. They are open to applicants with a broad range of experience. Full training can be provided where required.

Package on offer:

  • Salary: £28,000 – £50,000 depending on experience
  • 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday
  • 33 days holiday including bank holidays
  • Pension
  • On-site gym
  • Formal training provided, including recognised industry qualifications

Duties of the Design Engineer:

  • Using AutoCAD and Revit for 2D and 3D modelling
  • Reading and interpreting architectural drawings
  • Occasional site visits where required
  • Working closely with the wider team to ensure projects run to schedule

Experience required of the Design Engineer:

  • Experience using 2D and 3D CAD (ideally AutoCAD and/or Revit)
  • Background in architectural, construction or mechanical sectors
