Are you an experienced Refrigeration Engineer looking for a field-based role working on specialist industrial refrigeration equipment? We're recruiting for a growing engineering business looking to strengthen its Service team. You'll be working on portable cold stores, blast freezers and associated refrigeration systems across customers within food manufacturing, seafood, cold storage and pharmaceutical environments.

This is a great opportunity for someone from an industrial or commercial refrigeration background, although experienced transport refrigeration engineers looking to move into industrial refrigeration will also be considered.

  • Service, maintenance and PPM of refrigeration equipment
  • Mechanical and electrical repairs
  • Refrigerant recovery, charging and re-gassing
  • Commissioning and decommissioning
  • Remote monitoring and diagnostics
  • Completing service reports and identifying follow-up works
  • Providing technical support to customers

Qualifications:

  • F-Gas qualification – essential
  • Previous refrigeration engineering experience
  • Industrial or commercial refrigeration experience preferred
  • Experience with cold stores, blast freezers, chillers or food-production refrigeration would be advantageous
  • Transport refrigeration backgrounds will also be considered
  • Strong fault-finding and service skills
  • Full UK driving licence
