White Label is proudly representing an Engineering and Manufacturing business in Elland that require a Controls Engineer to join their team. My client is offering a package of up to £45,000 plus:
- Additional payment of £50 per night when having to work away
- 22 days holiday + bank holidays
- Sick pay
- Pension
Working hours: Monday – Thursday 08:00 – 17:00 and Friday 08:00 – 15:00
The key duties of the Controls Engineer are:
- Design electrical systems to control processes and machinery
- Design & develop Software programs for PLC, HMI, SCADA efficiently & effectively
- Attend site as and when required (around 20-25% of the role but project dependant)
- Installing electrical equipment and fault finding
- Ensure that manufacturing and operations comply with design specifications & contractual agreements
- Organise & establish control systems to monitor the performance & safety of electrical systems
- Responsible for compliance with relevant regulations, specifications, health & safety, and the production of RAMS
Experience required of the Controls Engineer:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Electrical qualifications: HNC, HND, Apprenticeship-trained, or Degree.
- Comfortable working on-site
- Willing to get stuck in across all areas of electrical and controls
