We're recruiting for an established business specialising in the service, repair and overhaul of industrial pumps used across sectors including manufacturing, water, chemical processing, food & beverage, pharmaceuticals and utilities.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys stripping, inspecting, repairing and rebuilding rotating equipment in a modern workshop environment.
The Role * Strip, inspect and rebuild a wide range of centrifugal and positive displacement pumps. * Diagnose mechanical faults and identify worn or damaged components. * Carry out repairs, overhauls and performance testing. * Complete workshop documentation and inspection reports. * Work alongside an experienced engineering team in a busy workshop. * Maintain high standards of quality, safety and workmanship.
What We're Looking For * Experience working on industrial pumps, rotating equipment or similar mechanical equipment. * Mechanical fitting, maintenance or overhaul experience. * Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring equipment. * Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills. * Mechanical qualifications or apprenticeship beneficial but not essential.
