White Label is hiring a Graduate Electrical Design Engineer for an engineering business based in Wakefield. This role is perfect for a recent electrical engineering Graduate eager to start their career. The role will focus on designing integrated security systems across high-profile infrastructure and energy distribution projects, combining electrical, electronic, and security system design from concept through to completion. My client is offering a salary of £28,000 - £32,000 depending on experience.

Key responsibilities of the Graduate Electrical Design Engineer:

  • Design and develop detailed security system line drawings as part of integrated solutions
  • Carry out ELV calculations to ensure design integrity
  • Review completed designs to ensure compliance with specifications and standards
  • Develop and maintain document templates and technical documentation
  • Liaise with other designers to ensure project coordination
  • Attend site surveys and design review meetings
  • Produce technical manuals and maintenance documentation
  • Ensure document control and quality standards are met

Experience/Criteria required of the Graduate Electrical Design Engineer:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.
  • Due to the nature of the work applicants must have a British Passport.
  • Commutable to Wakefield.
