We’re recruiting for a Senior Project Manager to join a growing engineering project delivery business operating within heavy engineering, bulk material handling and complex industrial projects across the UK and overseas. This is a senior-level role suited to someone who can take ownership of large-scale EPC projects from start to finish, manage demanding clients and drive delivery. Projects typically range from £5m–£10m in value across sectors including tunnelling, processing, quarrying, mining and industrial plant engineering.

The Role
- Full lifecycle project management responsibility from order handover through to installation, commissioning and final completion
- Manage project scope, budgets, schedules and contractual deliverables
- Drive project delivery across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, logistics and site installation
- Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout delivery
- Manage project reporting, forecasting and commercial performance
- Handle scope changes, variations and contractual issues professionally
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget
What They’re Looking For
- Strong Senior Project Management experience within heavy engineering, construction or bulk material handling environments ideally
- Proven EPC / fixed-price contract experience is essential
- NEC3 / NEC4 contract knowledge highly desirable
- Experience managing large steelwork, installation or construction-based engineering projects
- Comfortable working directly with clients and site teams
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to protect programme, scope and margin
- Able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced project environment
- Site-based project management experience preferred
- Engineering qualification or relevant technical background beneficial
