What You’ll Be Doing:
- Leading design activities on current and future products.
- Producing conceptual and detailed 3D designs and manufacturing drawings (SolidWorks or similar).
- Designing across chassis, suspension, axles, structures and welded fabrications.
- Supporting prototype builds, validation, testing and continuous improvement.
- Ensuring designs meet internal standards, regulatory requirements and design-for-manufacture principles.
- Working closely with manufacturing, purchasing and test teams to ensure smooth product delivery.
- Playing a key role in new product development and influencing internal engineering processes.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven mechanical design experience within one or more of the following: Automotive, Trailers & transport, Heavy engineering, Agricultural/off-road, Aerospace, rail or bespoke machinery.
- Strong understanding of structural design, load paths and static/dynamic loading (finite element experience beneficial).
- Proficient in 3D CAD (SolidWorks, Inventor or similar).
- Experience with some or all of the following: Welded fabrications, Cast and machined components, Hydraulics and mechanical linkages.
- A confident communicator who enjoys taking ownership and driving projects forward.
Why Join?
