White Label is currently working with an established engineering business specialising in bulk material handling solutions in their search for a Design Engineer. The business has seen rapid growth in recent years, resulting in a significant increase in design workload and exciting opportunities for skilled engineers.

The Role

  • Join a small, friendly design team to work across all stages of project development, with roughly 50/50 split between concept design and detailed engineering.
  • Produce 3D layouts and system concepts.
  • Create flow diagrams and define specifications.
  • Detailed design of steel structures, brackets, and secondary steelwork.
  • Generate GA drawings and assembly drawings for machinery and systems.
  • Provide technical support to sales, manufacturing, and installation teams.
  • Occasional site visits, if keen to be involved on-site.

The Person

  • Strong 3D CAD capability in Autodesk Inventor (or SolidWorks).
  • Experience in design of steel/structural bulk material handling, conveyors, or mechanical handling systems.
  • Keen to learn, hands-on, and genuinely interested in engineering solutions.
  • Accurate, patient, and capable of visualising systems in 3D.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, good IT literacy, and the ability to work under pressure in a small team.

Salary & Benefits

  • £30,000 – £45,000 per year, dependent on experience.
  • Monday to Friday - 8:00am – 5:00pm with 1-hour lunch.
  • Flexible working options / hybrid working available (some team members work 3 days from home).
