White Label Recruitment are currently working on behalf of a specialist UK engineering business with an outstanding reputation in industrial coding, marking, and product identification solutions. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a commercially driven Area Sales Manager / Technical Sales Engineer to manage and develop business across the North of England. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience selling technical equipment, capital equipment, packaging machinery, automation, industrial print, labelling, or production line solutions into manufacturing environments.
The Role
- Managing and growing existing customer relationships across the region
- Identifying and winning new business opportunities within manufacturing environments
- Conducting site visits to understand production processes and application requirements
- Selling consultative coding, marking, traceability, and industrial printing solutions
- Working closely with internal technical and commercial teams on quotations, demonstrations, and proposals
- Building and managing a strong sales pipeline using CRM systems
- Delivering against agreed sales targets and activity KPIs
What They’re Looking For
- Proven field sales experience within a technical or engineering-led environment
- Experience selling into manufacturing, packaging, food, pharma, medical, industrial, or FMCG sectors
- Background in one or more of the following would be highly advantageous:
- Coding & marking systems
- Packaging machinery
- Labelling / product identification systems
- Industrial automation
- Process equipment
- Capital equipment
