White Label are proud to be working with leading engineering business based in the Gainsborough area in their search for a Mechanical Design Engineers due to increase of orders and team growth. Key Responsibilities would include but are not limited to: * Responsible on projects of all sizes from small machine alterations to complete bespoke machinery solutions. The role will require you to create and prove concepts, liaise with customers, and support them through manufacture to commissioning. You will complete this through mechanical design whilst utilising electrical and pneumatic components. * You will play a key part in developing effective solutions to our internal and external customer requirements, Inter-departmental communication will be a large part of the role to gain guidance and approval on designs as well as ensuring components are manufactured correctly. * Part of this role will be working on bespoke machinery designs for our internal sites, therefore it is essential that you have a background spent within mechanical design engineering, responsible for machinery designs. The Person: * Minimum HNC/HND qualification in Mechanical Engineering * Minimum 3 years’ experience working as a Design Engineer/Mechanical Design Engineer * Must have experience in designing special purpose machinery, conveyors, material/mechanical handling equipment, automated machinery, heavy engineering or similar related products or industries to these * Previous experience in using SolidWorks ideal but not a must if not used similar packages such as Autodesk Inventor, Solidedge, etc * Ability to work using own initiative but also work well as team Salary & Benefits: * Competitive salary of £25,000 – £40,000 (Dependent on experience) * 22 Days Holidays + BH * Working Hours – 8:00 am – 4:30pm Monday – Thursday and 8 am – 3:30 pm Friday * This is an exciting opportunity to work with a great team who invest heavily in their employees and to work with an interesting product range * Pension * Bonus * Opportunity to work for a company with high retention of staff and offer great career progression
