Salary: £40,000–£45,000

Location: Greater Manchester (multi-site – Rochdale & North Manchester)

Hours: Days - 7:30am-4:30pm Monday to Thursday, Friday early finish at 12:30pm.

The role involves keeping production running, fixing issues fast, and preventing them from happening again:

  • Respond to breakdowns across production lines
  • Carry out planned maintenance
  • Fault find on mechanical systems and equipment
  • Work on plant upgrades and improvement projects
  • Support installation of new machinery
  • Work with production teams to reduce downtime

What you’ll need:

  • Strong fault-finding skills
  • Experience with gearboxes, bearings, pumps, drives
  • Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics
  • Ideally have a background in automated production environments
  • Ability to read engineering drawings
  • Basic electrical awareness
