Youβll ensure production machinery is maintained, repaired, and running efficiently to minimise downtime across a busy baking and packaging operation.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\n\\n * \\n\\n Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on bakery production machinery including mixers, ovens, conveyors, and packaging lines\\n\\n * \\n\\n Rapidly respond to and resolve machinery breakdowns and faults\\n\\n * \\n\\n Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and apply effective solutions\\n\\n * \\n\\n Maintain detailed records of maintenance work and updates in compliance with food safety standards\\n\\n * \\n\\n Support continuous improvement of equipment reliability and operational efficiency\\n\\n * \\n\\n Ensure all work is completed in line with health, safety and hygiene protocols\\n\\n * \\n\\n Collaborate effectively with production and engineering teams during handovers and day-to-day operations\\n\\nSkills & Experience\\n\\nEssential:\\n\\n * \\n\\n Recognised engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, BTEC, HNC or equivalent) in Mechanical, Electrical, or Multi-skilled Engineering\\n\\n * \\n\\n Previous experience in a manufacturing or food production environment\\n\\n * \\n\\n Strong fault-finding skills and hands-on ability in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance\\n\\n * \\n\\n Understanding of health, safety and food hygiene standards\\n\\n * \\n\\n Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively during shifts\\n\\nDesirable:\\n\\n * \\n\\n Experience working with bakery or FMCG production equipment\\n\\n * \\n\\n Familiarity with PLC-controlled machinery and pneumatic/hydraulic systems\\n\\n * \\n\\n Experience with CMMS systems or digital maintenance reporting tools\\n\\nPersonal Attributes\\n\\n * \\n\\n Reliable, self-motivated and proactive approach\\n\\n * \\n\\n Strong communication and teamwork skills\\n\\n * \\n\\n Committed to maintaining a safe, clean and high-performing workplace\\n\\n * \\n\\n Willingness to adapt and contribute to a fast-paced production environment
