White Label Recruitment are currently working with a leading engineering manufacturer based close to Rochdale and commutable from West Yorkshire, who are now looking to take on an Internal Sales person to join their highly successful team. This is a brilliant opportunity for the right person as they really invest in their staff and the business has an excellent reputation in the industry!
The Role
- To assist customers with quotations and schedules of products
- To prepare and submit quotations
- Follow up on these quotations and negotiate any terms as and when necessary as well as deliveries
- Respond to any online or telephone queries
- Liaise between other departments and the customer to keep them updated and to provide a service most suitable to their needs, cost and time restraints
- To work closely with other members of the sales team to assess progress of the department and assist in the development of sales strategies to overcome challenges
- Produce reports, both verbally and in writing, on progress of enquiries and those quotations that have been converted to sales orders
- To prepare proposals and agreements
The Person
- Have a strong background in Internal Sales / Sales Support - producing quotations for engineered products
- Have worked with engineered products
- Ideally be able to interpret specifications and technical drawings, but training will be provided
- Be a good team player
- Have IT skills
