Our client, a well-established manufacturing and engineering business, is looking for a Project Co-ordinator to join their busy Projects Office.
The Role
You'll be the central point of contact between customers, Key Account Managers, Project Engineers, Commercial, Quality, Engineering, Stores and the wider manufacturing team — keeping orders, actions and communication on track from enquiry through to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a professional point of contact for allocated customers
- Maintain accurate orderbook visibility — priorities, due dates and requirements
- Co-ordinate across business units, Stores, Commercial, Engineering and Quality to support delivery
- Monitor customer orders, flagging risks to schedule, quality, cost or satisfaction
- Support contract and purchase order reviews
- Raise, track and follow up actions from meetings across the business
- Prepare meeting packs, orderbook reports and project trackers
- Escalate issues promptly where needed
- Support root cause investigation and corrective actions
- Chair/facilitate internal meetings, distributing clear minutes and actions
What We're Looking For
- Aware of engineering/manufacturing processes (drawings, BOMs, routings)
- Understanding of customer-facing orderbook and delivery requirements
- Strong communicator, confident with stakeholders across functions
- Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
- Commercial awareness — POs, quotations, contract review
- Competent in MS Office, Teams and project tracking systems
- Experience in a manufacturing, engineering or customer-facing project environment desirable
